Lycopene Creama Rinnovante

Gary Weinberger, M.D., F.A.C.S. came from a different specialty to his new avocation in the skincare medical/spa field. His undergraduate training at the University of Cincinnati led to a Bachelor of Science in Zoology. He then moved to his adopted country of Italy where he attended the University of Bologna School of Medicine — the same University Dante and Michelangelo attended a few years before. After he graduated with honors with his medical degree, Dr. Weinberger did a dual residency in surgery and urology at Millard Fillmore Hospital, Buffalo Children's Hospital, and The Roswell Park Memorial Cancer Institute. While in private practice in Manhattan Dr. Weinberger became an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University School of Medicine. He also became the Associate Director of the Cabrini Center for Male Sexual Dysfunction. Dr. Weinberger then returned to Buffalo and became an Assistant Clinical Professor at the prestigious University of Buffalo School of Medicine.

Dr. Weinberger has now retired from active medical practice and has become a recognized authority on biologically natural skincare often lecturing throughout the country. Consulting with Doctors Sharf, Man, and Rigan, he has developed the Paphos Skincare lines. Using his many medical and scientific contacts throughout Italy, he has coordinated the premier specialists on skincare in the U.S., and scientists and engineers in Italy to formulate the complete Paphos line of skincare products.

Larry Pollack, M.D., F.A.C.S. is the Medical Director of Paphos Skincare and a board certified plastic surgeon in practice in San Diego, California. He is a graduate of UCLA and St. George’s University. Dr. Pollack completed his general surgery training at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo, NY and completed his plastic surgery residency at the University of New Mexico. He served as Chief Resident in Plastic Surgery at the University of New Mexico Hospital, and was a Clinical Instructor in Plastic Surgery. He has been Chief of Plastic Surgery at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Pollack is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the California Society of Plastic Surgeons, and the San Diego Plastic Surgery Society.

Leonardo Rescio was born in Martano,(LE) Italy on October 22, 1956. He received his Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the Torino Polytechnic Institute in 1983. From 1988 until the present Dr. Rescio has been project director and head of the department of Research and Development for Pierre Chima, srl. From 1999- 2006, in collaboration with the Ministry of Research, University of Salento his research has focused on the biotechnological development of an innovative process for the extraction of important natural antioxidants like Licopene, Vitamin E, and anthrocyanins by means of Supercritical Fluid CO2 extraction which yields natural oils that are 100% pure and free of organic solvents. Dr. Rescio has many international scientific publications in this field and holds the patent for the use of Supercritical CO2 fluid Extraction of Licopene and botanical oils. He is the recipient of the Dow Chemical Technology Award in 1991 as well as the Dow Chemical Quality and Environmental awards in 1993. Dr. Rescio has been working with Paphos Skincare,LLC since 2004 in the development of the Giovan 2 and Naturalea Skincare products, and now with Lycopene Creama Rinnovante.

Zvi Sharf, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a plastic surgeon in practice with the Center for Plastic Surgery. He is a graduate of Adelphi University and Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Sharf completed his general surgery training at Millard Fillmore Hospitals and served there as Chief Surgical Resident for two years. He completed his Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical residency at the University of Oklahoma. In addition, he was Clinical Assistant Instructor in Plastic Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Dr. Sharf is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. Dr. Sharf has affiliations with Kaleida Health System and Surgery Center, and the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Western New York. He is a recognized expert in facial cosmetic surgery and body contouring. He is a fellow of the International College of Surgeons (F.I.C.S.). Dr. Sharf acts as the Medical Director of Paphos Skincare and has consulted on all of our current formulations.

David P. Rigan, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a Plastic Surgeon in practice with the Center for Plastic Surgery. He is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton and Loyola University of Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He received his prerequisite surgical training at Millard Fillmore Hospitals and completed his Plastic and Hand Surgical Residency at the Medical College of Ohio, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Rigan is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo and a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Buffalo Plastic Surgery Society, the Medical Societies of Erie County and the State of New York and the American Association for Hand Surgery. Dr. Rigan has affiliations with the Kaleida Health System, the Ambulatory Surgery Center of Western New York, St. Joseph Hospital and Sister’s Hospital. He is a volunteer in Operation Rainbow, a program that provides free reconstructive surgery to third world countries. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is Certified as having added qualifications in Surgery of the Hand. Dr. Rigan’s practice emphasis is all aspects of cosmetic surgery. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.) and the International College of Surgeons (F.I.C.S.).
